Dominion Gas named Subsea Company of the Year

Aberdeen-based oilfield services company Dominion Gas has been recognised as Subsea Company of the Year at the Subsea Business Awards 2010.
The awards, which took place on 10th February 2010 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, exist to recognise individuals and organisations that continue to break boundaries and ensure the

subsea sector leads the way around the world.

Eastern Hemisphere at Dominion Gas, who collected the award on the night, said: “Our strength as a company is based on many things – commitment to our people, investment in a robust supply chain and development of new technology. In the past year, our teams around the world have achieving more than we could have imagined and I was extremely proud to collect this award of their behalf.”
Within the last year Dominion Gas, together with its subsidiary company Argon Isotank, has undertaken an ambitious growth strategy adding West Africa, Australia, the US, Canada, China and India to its extensive list of global markets which already includes Norway, Azerbaijan, Singapore and the UK.
The company has developed innovative new technology allowing it to establish a presence in new locations extremely quickly, keeping ahead of the competition and offering clients the best possible service.
Dominion Gas is currently
Scotland
’s only independent oilfield service company supplying the full range of diving, welding, industrial, laboratory, test and calibration gases. Argon Isotank specialise in the rental and transfer of bulk chemical tanks operating predominantly within the global oil and gas industry but also in the petrochemical sector.
Dominion Gas has a turnover in excess of £25 million and currently employs 85 staff worldwide with offices in
