Welding and Cutting Gases
Dominion Gas supplies a range of gases for welding and cutting. These gases can be supplied in a variety of product equipment packages, from single cylinders, to quads of 16's, 48's and 64's and filled to either 200bar or 300bar
* Remember - The higher the C02 content the greater the penetration, however as C02 increases so does spatter.
SHIELDING GASES FOR
M.I.G. (Metal Inert Gas) & M.A.G. (Metal Active Gas) Welding.
Some of the standard range is listed along with their chemical composition.
- Arcoshield - Argon - C02 - Oxygen
- Arco - Argon - C02
- Hearco - Argon - Helium - C02
- Hearshield - Argon - Helium.

Hydrogen / Argon mixes can be used for T.I.G. welding of some types of stainless steels. Being described as a reducing gas Hydrogen absorbs CO2 and Oxygen from the weld area and in so doing can enhance weld appearance.
